Potentail Herdsire out of MC Revelation 129T

Here is a great son out of MC Revelation 129T produced from the Haynes Farms AI program.  He’s a spring 2011 calf and is at the side of his Transformer dam.  You can certainly see a great calf in this picture, but what you can’t see is that this is the 8th calf before her 9th birthday!  She is a really consistent cow produced from the Salacoa Valley herd….  Production genetics.  Profitable genetics.

We have several other really good Revelation and Bodine calves roaming the pastures at Haynes Farms.  Come by and take a look.  Go ahead and pick out your next herd sire.  This kind of Brangus cattle will help your herd work for you, instead of you working for your herd.

Meet ANDERSON – Our Easy Fleshing and Easy Going Herdsire

MC Anderson 98W5

Recently we added MC Anderson 98W5 to our herd bull battery at Haynes Farms.  We selected him for his balance, eye-appeal, extremely good temperament, and outstanding fleshing ability.  With fertilizer at such a premium these days, ease of fleshing is a very important economic trait.  Converting more pounds of beef from less forage equals higher profits!  Anderson will do that very well.   Performance is always in our equation and Anderson fits that Haynes Farms criteria well.  With a 875 lbs 205-day weight and 1,351 lbs yearling weight, Anderson posses the genetics to sire calves that will press the scales…the most important economic trait of all!.  His 16.9 REA is nothing to sneeze at either.  We have had him working breeding cattle in our herd and are eagerly awaiting his calves this fall.

MC Anderson 98W5's Pedigree

Blackwater Cattle Company and Vanna Farm liked him enough to retain interest in him when we purchased him.  Anderson is a product of the Mound Creek Genetic Partners program and was a standout in the 2010 grouping.  Anderson is sired by MC News Man 2K4 and out of a great Tank daughter originating from the Red Bird Meadows herd thats proving to be a great cow.

Bodine Calves Look’n Good

MC Bodine 129W15 x Nimitz of Brinks

We knew MC Bodine 129W15 was special when we picked him out of the crowd last spring from the offering at Mound Creek, but Bodine is even surprising us.  Even with an extensive AI program, Bodine’s calves are the best looking calves in the pasture.  The one pictured here is out of a Nimitz daughter…Should be some good calving ease genetics here, and a stout looking package.  We’ll keep an eye on him as he grows.

The influence of the Mound Creek genetics on our herd has been a great decision for us.  We are experiencing stand-out growth and eye appeal in all of the MC influenced cattle.  Come by and take a look at our spring calves, we sure do like’m and are pretty sure you will too.
